Man in search of abused electric car. Will purchase at low prices, happily store them, and then sell them back to you in 4 years for a premium. (removal of decals and/or eggs at no cost)
A couple things. I saw a sticker in Culver City this morning, also on a Tesla, that said something like “Send Elon to Mars” - so ppl are coping I guess? All jokes aside, if people aren’t returning their Teslas perhaps they really aren’t that pissed? The ‘performativeness’ of their disdain is perhaps being exposed? Lots of people still listen to Kanye, myself included, very proudly, and I’m Jewish. Does that make me a bad person or Jew? ;) More likely, Teslas have become such class symbols at this point, so embedded into culture, that it’s really hard to unwind the knot. I tend to think it’s fine for people drive them, unless you drive a Tesla Hummer or whatever those this are called. That’s just perv
This sounds like really easy advice to give if you didn't yourself spend 60K on a new Tesla a couple of years ago and would be lucky to get half that if you sold it today (or actually much less if every other Tesla owner tries to sell theirs).
