Never fear, Chortle is headquartered in the Republic of Cyprus for tax shelter reasons. All comments are therefore duty-free.

Are we talking about the same Exxon-Valdez that Trump nominated to Secretary of the Interior? Can't wait to see the oppo research on this guy...

I'm new here & by way of introduction I'll say that I'm blind & use a vision accessibility program that reads what's on my computer screen out loud as I navigate the screen. For instance, when it reads out loud "DEI" it pronounces the word like "day". I believed that this article was about changes in day policy, which led me to fear in changes to day drinking. Also, words like "duty" and initials such as "p.p." read out loud by my computer voice make me giggle out loud ( in a manly way!). I think I'll like it here. Cheers!

Welcome Daniel! I wish you many more manly giggles. We have the same day drinking policy around here as Pete Hegseth: it’s 10 AM somewhere.

Incidentally, I appreciate the introduction because I’ve been wondering if I should make more of an effort to use image alt-text and now I definitely will!

Good news! Not much different than my wife asking "How do I look? Oh, wait..." In answer to her question I use the Braille method to check her attire (gets a little embarrassing for her when I do this in public). Thanks!
