Writing is difficult. I’ll be the first one to admit it — primarily because it’s a great excuse when my writing sucks. I think about quitting more frequently than I'd like to admit, and I know I'm not the only one. Many of us have considered transitioning into a different career that seems easier or more lucrative.
Unfortunately, lots of writers develop a sense that they don't have the skills to do anything else. I’m here to say that’s not true! The writer’s path can prepare you for a surprisingly broad list of careers.
